Indonesia became the first country in Asia, outside of South Korea, who accept the presence of all-new Rio hatchback which will replace the Kia Pride sales in Indonesia. All New Rio offers a new design concept "tiger nose" that has been applied on the Picanto and Sportage. This concept is seen in the form of grille, headlights and bumpers.
Dimensions are quite compact, 20 mm longer than pride, added width of 25 mm and 15 mm lower with wheelbase 2570 mm (70 mm longer). Overhang (distance bumpers until the midpoint of the front tires) is also 20 mm shorter strokes reduce wind turbulence so it is more stable on the road.

The new features offered by Eco Mode can increase fuel efficiency and low exhaust emissions. Kia claims fuel consumption reaches 14-18 km per liter and release carbon dioxide 125-167 grams per km.
Created a futuristic dashboard design featuring horizontal characters on the instrument panel wrapped in white ivory. Rim-style four-spoke steering wheel with display speedometer and odometer-shaped cluster of three cylinders. On the trip-computer cluster equipped to inform various things such as mileage, average fuel consumption, transmission position indicator and Eco Mode.
Some other features that exist on this car is, eclectic power steering, single airbag, parking sensors (rear), ABS, baterry savers, MP3 CD player, radio, AUX connector, iPod, and USB Bluteooth. All New Rio is offered in White, Bright Silver, Graphite Grey, Black, Fresh Beige, Signal Red and Wendy Brown.
